TrailByTyre / Tool Disclaimer

An entered scenario.
Not a guarantee.

Understand what a result can explain—and which decisions still need suitable independent information.

A worksheet, not an authority

Every result on this website describes a scenario made from values you enter. It does not confirm facts about a destination, road, group, document, vehicle or person. Read the stated formula and units, replace sample values and check important source information before deciding what to do.

Different tools answer different questions. A clock margin is not a forecast; a weight or volume margin is not a safety clearance; a lower cost is not a booking recommendation. Several favorable results do not combine into an overall approval.

No live information is retrieved

The supplied calculations do not fetch traffic, weather, access restrictions, sunset times, route geometry, travel rules, provider quotes or availability. An entered number can be outdated or wrong even when the arithmetic is correct. The site does not verify a source simply because you type its value into a field.

Use official or otherwise appropriate current sources for facts that can affect your trip. Check dates, units and the conditions under which a quoted figure applies. If a tool’s defined model does not match your real situation, do not force the situation into the model.

Specific limits of this collection

Water allowances, ascent minutes, walking paces and daylight reserves are supplied by you. They are not medical recommendations, validated timing rules or safe minimums. Kit lists may omit essential items, and a park pass comparison depends on coverage you must verify.

The limitations are also stated beside individual tools so an exported figure can be understood in context. Do not remove those qualifications when sharing a result if doing so would make the output misleading.

Rounding and time references

Time outputs are rounded to whole minutes where stated. A displayed day offset uses the reference clock entered in that worksheet, not a geographical time-zone calculation. Date gaps use calendar-day boundaries with an explicit UTC calculation to avoid daylight-saving offsets.

Money outputs are rounded to cents under the described method. A currency label is a label, not an exchange-rate service. The stage allocator uses tenths of a kilometer and a rounding method that preserves its displayed total; individual allocations are still not surveyed route distances.

Examples and illustrations

Starting numbers are illustrative. They are not current prices, official requirements, verified route facts or evidence that the author completed a trip. The homepage artwork is AI-generated editorial illustration and does not identify a real destination or document an actual visit.

No invented reviews, performance ratings, professional certifications or emergency-service affiliations are used to make the tools appear authoritative. Judge the worksheet by its method, stated scope and applicability to your own question.

Use a suitable setting

Use the tools before departure or while safely stopped. Do not type, read outputs or print a plan while driving, crossing a road or moving through difficult terrain. Arrange appropriate independent checks and communications for your situation.

This website cannot monitor your journey, detect a missed return, contact your group or summon assistance. For immediate danger, use the appropriate local emergency route. The public email and contact form are ordinary correspondence channels without a promised response time.

Reporting a suspected problem

Email support@trailbytyre.online with the tool name, units, a non-sensitive set of inputs, the result you expected and the result shown. A concise reproducible example is more useful than a private travel document.

Pause reliance on a result you suspect is wrong. A report can help investigate an issue but does not guarantee a particular correction or deadline. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy provide additional information about website use and messages.
