What this worksheet helps you decide
Turn your own categorized reminders into a checkable, printable day sheet. It provides a transparent working copy of one defined question, not a complete journey plan. The relevant inputs and the scope of the calculation stay visible beside the result.
The most useful result is not always the most favorable number. It may be a shortfall that tells you to revisit an allowance, a comparison that exposes a hidden fee, or a reminder that your source information needs checking.
How to use it
- Define one scenario. Use information you have checked for your own trip. Replace every example field that differs from your plan.
- Check units and reference dates. Keep amounts in the units shown. Clock values share one reference clock; a currency label does not convert money.
- Calculate and read the components. Compare the result with the method below. If a source value is uncertain, calculate a second scenario rather than treating one answer as certain.
- Keep a copy deliberately. Download or print only after reviewing the result. Changing an input marks the old result stale; calculate again before exporting.
Method and calculation rules
Each non-empty line is split at the first | character into a category and reminder. The tool builds an interactive checklist in the current page. Tick items after reviewing them; exports include the current checked states. Progress counts completed reminders, not readiness or safety.
The method describes what is counted and what is not. A displayed quantity can be rounded for readability; rounding does not make an input more accurate. Do not substitute a result for facts this worksheet does not retrieve.
A worked example
Four entered reminders create four checkboxes. Ticking two shows 2 of 4 reviewed; a downloaded copy marks those two as completed without sending the list anywhere.
Important limits
This is a personal notes builder, not a complete outdoor equipment list or a safety clearance. Do not enter confidential location, identity or medical information.
Use this worksheet while stationary. It cannot monitor your journey, notify another traveler or provide emergency help. If a result appears wrong, stop relying on it and send a non-sensitive reproducible example through the Contact page.
Questions about this tool
Will the checklist still be here after closing the page?
Not automatically. Download or print the current sheet before leaving. Refreshing may clear your working copy.
Does ticking everything mean I am ready to go?
No. It only records that you marked the reminders you entered. Necessary checks can be missing from an incomplete list.
Your entries and working copy
The supplied calculation code runs in this open browser page. It does not create a tool account or automatically upload entered calculation values to a dedicated calculation server. Refreshing or leaving the page may clear the working copy. Downloaded or printed files are then under your control.
